Quartier Mode is proud to present a new weekly blogger series called the “Obsession of the Week” which will feature what we are currently (yes, you guessed it) obsessing over!
Being a fashion neighborhood, we appreciate and are inspired by all things local and beautiful.
The best way to explain it is to quote the one and only Coco Chanel, “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.”
Whether it comes to food, events, books or drinks, Quartier Mode has got you covered!
For the first week’s post, we are obsessing over a nearby Chilean & Latin American restaurant, La Chilenita, which we munched on to keep us fueled during the Vintage Pop event. They serve good quality food at very reasonable prices. They are known as, “the house of empanadas,” which is their specialty. However, they do have salads, enchiladas and sandwiches too. They’ve got a list of empanadas for all the vegetarians out there too!
A recommendation by Quartier Mode would be the “Napolitana.” La Chilenita have 3 different locations in Montreal. Stop by one of them to enjoy one of their delicious empanadas to see why we are obsessed. And don’t forget the hot sauce on the side!
